MIRROR MIRROR ON THE WALL
BEFORE: IT’S ALL IN WHAT YOU SEE. VISUALIZE.
LATER I WILL REVEAL.
Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all? Welcome me back to the Jerry McGuire Manifesto. This is #8: THE OLD CAN ALWAYS BE NEW. I have been absent from this small business class for two days, going on three? Maybe love is in the air or is that just the plain old awesome good weather we had today for the first time all Spring? It is the end of the third quarter and yes I know Michigan lost! It happened later, but they lost.
So much has happened, where do I start? That’s easy. Graditude. I am so thankful that my company is growing. I am the luckiest girl in the world! Smiles blaze. In that short time or long one depending on your perspective, we pulled off an absolutely amazing before and after. This among other things.
I present in this manifesto a double before and after. Entertain me, if you will. This is a catch up game and I intend to deliver. Since the AD Home Show wrapped on Sunday, March 24th, we have met new clients, signed , lucrative deals and executed a CUSTOM home staging. This is all in two-weeks time. That is momentum. That is what this blog is all about. World class shares that always answer the question Why Custom?
BEFORE:
THIS IS WHY CUSTOM
The Sandwich Before is an a staging. Staging has two clients. In business you have to always identify your client. In Real Estate, this means get them to new. I have learned a majority of homebuyers want to buy new. It once had a catchy name, Bubble. The best part now is old can really be new. It has creater value. The old can always be new. This room has tons of potential. Here’s the proof. The following two pictures were taken three-years ago.
JERRY MCGUIRE MANIFESTO #8
THE OLD CAN ALWAYS BE NEW
One thing to know about me, I love the water. I believe the universe lives there. We share the same address. In that picture, I wanted to return to my job as a news reporter. That’s an old picture. It was taken four-years ago.

DELAMAR SOUTHPORT
THE ORIGINAL STAGING
This too is an old picture. It’s a one-effeciency I designed at the Delamar in Southport. Gone on and book a night there. Support my cause. Proven, they are’s old pictures, but I will wager very new to you. Interor design, make overs, impact on lifestyles.
AFTER: ONE OF TWO
INSPIRED BY: JOHN ROBSHAW
DESIGNED BY: Samantha Knapp for Tiger Lily’s
This is the first of our two afters. The room looks brand-new. It is a total transformation. The picture is I-Phone. Blue walls, Benjamin Moore. New bed, http://www.tigerlilysgreenwich inspired by John Robshaw, our newly introduced Octogon Ottoman. Not a bad shot and not a bad transformation.
MID TRANFORMATION;
TEAM TIGER LILY’S AT WORK
I love my team. Here’s a lesson on team learned today by Nick the Intern when you work as group and one person gets lunch, he takes care of the team. Plain and simple. The team should always come first. The greater good. Nick went out of lunch and forgot our pizza. Today’s greater good was this staging. Nick now knows not to forget the pizza.
AFTER: SAMANTHA KNAPP HAND FINISH
SEALED IN CLEAR VARNISH
THE SHIP SAILS
This is the AFTER for the first picture. I didn’t mean to trick your eyes. The mirror as you saw it in the first picture was in our garage, collecting dust. It was desperate for a new home. Every mirror needs a home. It is a look inside the soul. The soul, knowledge I am sharing, in thanks to my education at Goldman Sachs 10-Thousand Businesses, for the #share, has two components that break down four-different ways.
It has been established that assertive and responsive traits of your character level in four degrees. You are either one of these my friends or colleague:
- ANALYTICAL
- DRIVER
- AMIABLE
- EXPRESSIVE
I just asked my team @tigerlilysgreenwich to tell me theirs. Based on a series of questions, and evaluating the answers against existence data, researchers can determine that.
