BEFORE & AFTER: NATIONAL ARTS CLUB
It is has been a while since I posted a blog, so readers bare with. I am wiggling on the bike as I write to gain balance. I return with a share from the lecture I presented at the National Arts Club in Gramercy Park.
The subject is a return to tips of the trade as it relates to reupholstering, renewing, re-imaging old pieces in new ways. That’s the story of my life and the share has always been to see things differently. What you see in one moment through one lens has the potential to evolve into something entirely different, fresh and new.
What makes Tiger Lily’s so special, outside of being a destination for creative opportunity is our roots. We are family first. I work with my parents and we employee families’ of artisans who still hand upholster and hand sew all the projects that come through our door. It is unique experience. I am forever grateful.
I have a bunch to share this fall season when it comes to inspiring little projects or some of the work we are so proud to do. So check in often, fuel our tanks, shop our store http://www.tigerlilysgreenwich.com.
I leave as I do most blogs, this one with words I believe and live by. Gandhi said, “I want freedom for the full expression of my personality.” Keep trying new things, exploring new designs and look deep into the future. I will most certainly see you there!
