The Tigerlily’s Lounge

 UP AT BAT:

This is how we found the old retail space.   The walls were stripped, the dry wall crack revealing electrical wiring and the floor uneven with tile missing in some places.

A FEW STEPS AHEAD:

With in the week we transformed the space, with an upholstered wall of green velvet with a decorative nickel nailheads. We also called in Jahmane of  artofjahmane.com to hand paint foliage on velvet to correspond with the natural elements reflected in our decor. Because the lounge had a warehouse feel, I brought in rod iron benches on castors that were easy to move for entertaining and animal inspired chairs. Chrome, nickel detailing kept the space consistent.  The furnishings were sparce so people could enjoy great music, food and boozes!
